The challenge

Relying on multiple vendors was impacting the service delivered by Peel Regional Police. The systems struggled to work in unison, and there were support and management issues. Emergency call wait times were unacceptable, frustrating both staff and the community.

The solution

To meet call demand, streamline operations and better support the community, Peel Regional Police implemented PremierOne CAD and VESTA 911 software technologies.

The impact

Systems within the multi-platform ecosystem interact seamlessly, minimizing workloads and improving workplace culture. 911 calls are now answered within 10-11 seconds, meeting National Emergency Number Association (NENA) standards.
