The Public Safety LTE Subscriber and Policy Manager (SPM) integrates the Home Subscriber Server (HSS) and the Policy and Charging Rules Function (PCRF) on a single hardware platform, while remaining fully compliant to defined standards.

As the master subscriber repository, the HSS supports authentication, authorization and mobility management functions within the LTE network. The PCRF determines policy for IP data flows and applies QoS management.

Designed for public safety operations, the SPM allows agencies to define their own policies to match their specific operating requirements. Data traffic can be dynamically and automatically prioritized to ensure the most important data reaches its destination.
