The challenge

Today’s supermarket shopper has high expectations for their in-store visit: a seamless shopping experience and immediate assistance when it’s required. Retailers face significant challenges in delivering this, exacerbated by growing pressures from the supply chain, staff shortages and rising energy costs. To foster customer loyalty, supermarkets must operate efficiently - this is not only crucial for retaining customers in a competitive landscape, but to enable staff to work more productively.

The solution

An integrated ecosystem to enable store communication.

Effortless communication between in-store staff and customers

At the centre of the peiECO system is the peiBOX, integrated into the dedicated Wi-Fi network. When the button on the peiBOX is pressed, signals are passed to a secure cloud platform, which then delivers a voice message to the TLK 25.

  • Personnel are immediately informed that their assistance is required.
  • The TLK 25’s Push-To-Talk capabilities allow immediate communication between staff, and include a dedicated emergency button, enhancing staff and customer safety.
  • Staff work more efficiently and productively, resulting in greater job satisfaction and a higher level of dedicated customer service. This in turn, drives customer loyalty.
  • The system collects data which helps to inform the day-to-day running of the store.
  • Management can use the WAVE PTX mobile app to communicate with staff from any location, via their smartphone.
