2016 Channel Partner Conference

GENERAL CONFERENCE INFORMATION

About the accommodation and conference venue:
Balgownie Estate is situated in the heart of the Yarra Valley set amongst 30 hectares of green landscape and vineyards.  The estate is located less than one hour’s drive from Melbourne’s CBD and the airport.

This heritage listed Victorian mansion on 250 acres, borders the Yarra River and is set amidst established gardens dating from 1854.

The estate boasts 70 contemporary guest suites, a purpose built conference centre with executive boardrooms, Rae’s Restaurant, cellar door and Natskin Spa Retreat and health club.

** To accommodate all guests, delegates will be accommodated at either Balgownie Estate or Chateau Yering (less than 10 minutes away). A bus will be on stand-by to transfer guests on request throughout the conference. We appreciate your understanding. We will confirm your hotel closer to the date.

Meals:
All relevant meals including breakfasts, morning and afternoon tea, lunches and dinners are fully catered for the duration of the event.

Room service and any other meals, including drinks ordered outside of official events are at delegates’ expense and may not be charged to the Motorola Solutions account.

Dietary Requirements:
Please be sure to submit all relevant dietary requirements upon registration. During the event, please advise venue staff of your requirements so your custom meal can be made available to you.

Alcohol
Any alcohol purchased outside of official conference functions is at delegates’ expense and cannot be charged to the Motorola Solutions account. Motorola Solutions encourages all participants to drink responsibly.

Smoking
This is a non smoking venue – no rooms are designated smoking rooms. However, guests are allowed to smoke outside the venue.

ID Badges
You will be provided with an identification badge upon registration. This badge will grant access to all sessions, events and catered meals and functions so it is important to keep it with you at all times. If you misplace your badge, please be sure to speak to Motorola Solutions staff onsite.

Mobile Phones
As a courtesy to other delegates, please ensure all  mobile phones and pagers are switched to silent mode during all conference sessions and social functions.

Parking
Parking is available onsite.

Airport Transfers
Motorola Solutions is pleased to offer transfers between Tullamarine Airport and Balgownie Estae. 

Travelling from Tullamarine Airport to Balgownie Estate 

Motorola Solutions will greet you at Tullamarine Airport on Monday, 29 February 2016 to travel via coach to Balgownie Estate. 

Coach transfers are available at 9:30am and 1:00pm.

If you are attending a one-on-one strategy meeting or the Marketing Ambassador Programme workshop, please arrange your flights to travel to Balgownie Estate on the 9:30am transfer coach.

Travelling from Balgownie Estate to Tullamarine Airport

Motorola Solutions will greet you at Balgownie Estate on Wednesday, 2 March to travel via coach to Tullamarine Airport. 

Coach transfers are available at 8.00am and 10.00am. 

Please allow a minimum of two hours for domestic flights and three hours for international flights to check-in. 

Other transfer information 

Transfers will depart promptly. Please ensure you arrive early to meet your transfer. A meeting point will be advised closer to the date. 

Taxis or private airport transfers are available at your own expense. If you would like assistance, please contact Mandi Ford.
