TETRA subscriber release MR2026.1: Enhanced control and expanded coverage
The MR2026.1 release delivers powerful new features and capabilities for your TETRA radios. We've focused on giving you greater control with the M6 handheld control head, improving location tracking accuracy with LIP enhancements and expanding secure End-to-End Encryption (E2EE) coverage by supporting the Key Management Facility (KMF) on third-party systems (not DIMETRA).
Experience new, intuitive control with the M6 handheld control head
This release introduces the M6 control head that works with the MXM600 TETRA mobile radio.
- This new feature puts all MXM600 radio controls securely in one hand, ensuring your controls are not out of reach. The T-bar grip allows you to handle the control head easily, even while wearing gloves. An integrated loudspeaker, earpiece and hi-lo volume options offers support for both Remote Speaker Microphone (RSM) and telephone-style communications.
- Choose from two configurations—M6 Direct and M6 Accessory Hub—to streamline new installations and retrofitting.
Enhancements that support security and tracking accuracy
- Expand your E2E coverage: We now support the KMF on third-party (non-DIMETRA) systems, boosting your security.
- Improve location-tracking accuracy: We added month and year information to the Location Information Protocol (LIP) reports, giving you a more accurate timestamp for every stored position.
- Track for longer periods: We increased the LIP backlog buffer capacity from 1,000 messages to 2,000 messages, which allows for extended period location tracking.
- Control your location services remotely: New ATCMD and SDS remote control capabilities let you turn GPS on or off.
- Access greater operational flexibility: Dual Control Head for the MXM600 is now enabled by default.

RadioTracker R10.2 has arrived, introducing a significant upgrade to our advanced reporting and location tracking system. This version benefits DIMETRA™ X Core customers as it enhances visibility and sustainability tracking for systems using DIMETRA Connect or Eco mode.
Please note: DIMETRA Connect and Eco mode are features of the DIMETRA X Core D10 release.

DIMETRA Connect helps ensure your team stays in touch by automatically switching their DIMETRA Connect-enabled device to TETRA via broadband whenever they move out of TETRA land mobile radio (LMR) coverage. With the RadioTracker R10.2 update, you can now easily see and track whenever this happens.

You gain an uninterrupted view of how and when your teams use DIMETRA Connect, enabling you to more effectively manage your network.
- RadioTracker seamlessly integrates the DIMETRA Connect Gateway (DCG), treating it as a virtual RF site connected via the internet. This lets radio administrators quickly see, on their screens and live views, which devices and calls use DIMETRA Connect.
- On the live map, a cloud icon clearly differentiates these devices from standard TETRA RF users for quick identification.
- You can easily generate historical reports focused specifically on devices and calls using DIMETRA Connect, giving you detailed insight into when and where your users rely on TETRA via broadband versus TETRA via LMR.
Track power savings and boost sustainability with Eco mode
Resource efficiency is vital. Eco mode helps you lower base station operating expenses and reduce your carbon footprint by intelligently putting unused TETRA base radios into a low-power standby mode. RadioTracker R10.2 empowers you to accurately track these benefits.
Whether you have already enabled Eco mode or are evaluating its benefits, RadioTracker provides tailored reporting options:
- Estimation mode (for systems without Eco mode deployed)
- You no longer have to guess your potential returns. The Eco mode Estimation Report calculates exactly how much you could save in kWh if you deployed Eco mode. This estimate is based on your system's actual historical channel activity and traffic patterns, not standard theoretical data.
- Calculated mode (for systems with Eco mode already deployed)
- RadioTracker provides exact reports based on your actual usage and the kWh saved by Eco mode in your DIMETRA X Core system.
- You can access detailed energy reports that show capacity utilisation, annual kWh savings and hourly time-series graphs of energy consumption.
By upgrading to RadioTracker R10.2, you gain the actionable intelligence you need to optimise your network operations and support your organisation's sustainability goals.
