New features
Better teamwork with the TLK 110 Radio
The VB400 body camera can now connect directly to the TLK 110 WAVE PTX Radio. Once set up in your management software, these two devices start talking to each other right away, making sure your video recordings and radio communications work as one unified system. Pressing the physical Emergency Button on the TLK 110 radio triggers the paired VB400 to instantly start recording video, helping ensure critical events are captured hands-free during high-stress moments.

Easy pairing with the MOTOTRBO R5 Radio
With this update, the VB400 can now connect to the MOTOTRBO R5 Radio, giving your team an easy way to link their video and radio gear together. It also provides an extra layer of reassurance and safety while on duty. When the MOTOTRBO R5 radio enters an emergency state, either by a manual button press or a Man-Down / Fall Alert sensor activation, it prompts the VB400 to begin recording.

Audio-only capture via gesture
The VB400 body-worn camera now supports audio-only recording using a simple device gesture. This allows users to discreetly capture critical sound logs when video recording isn't necessary or appropriate, helping to ensure essential audio detail is documented without requiring manual interaction through connected software.

Image stabilization
We are introducing a new image stabilization feature for body cameras to address the common issue of shaky and unstable footage caused by movement during recording. Powered by the VB400 chipset, this enhancement ensures smoother and clearer footage, making it more reliable for legal and investigative purposes. The feature will also include a “turn on/off” configuration button, giving users the ability to enable or disable image stabilization based on their needs.
With the addition of image stabilization, law enforcement officers will benefit from more stable and actionable video evidence, improving the quality of documentation and supporting more effective investigations. This upgrade ensures that footage remains reliable and clear, even in challenging conditions.
