PSTA joins Cyber Threat Alliance to expand intelligence capabilities

Since its establishment in 2022, the Public Safety Threat Alliance (PSTA) has been proud to support the public safety community in protecting the mission-critical systems agencies rely on every day. We understand that for our members, maintaining the "lifeline" is a mission that cannot fail. It requires constant vigilance against a rapidly evolving landscape of cyber threats.

Today, we are excited to announce a major milestone in that mission: Motorola Solutions has officially joined the Cyber Threat Alliance (CTA).

What this means for public safety

The CTA is a leading nonprofit organization of cybersecurity experts dedicated to sharing threat intelligence. This global network includes 35 private-sector members from the world’s top cybersecurity companies. By joining this global network, Motorola Solutions has become the first member in the safety and security technology sector and will gain access to a wide range of cross-industry and real-time threat data for its PSTA members.

This partnership secures the PSTA’s access to global intelligence, improving our ability to find and share threats to mission-critical infrastructure. By joining this network of experts, we are expanding our "collective defense" strategy to help ensure the public safety community does not face sophisticated cybercriminals alone.

Our continued commitment

This expansion of our intelligence capabilities supports our core goal: ensuring that those who protect our communities are better protected from cyber threats. With more robust, contextualized data, the PSTA is better equipped than ever to help agencies defend their networks against the complex threats of 2026 and beyond.

Join the PSTA today

The Public Safety Threat Alliance (PSTA) is an information sharing and analysis organization (ISAO) established by Motorola Solutions and recognized by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). The PSTA acts as a central hub for intelligence by providing members with actionable analysis, monthly briefings and automated threat feeds tailored specifically for public safety.
