Unified Push-to-Talk
Motorola Unified Push-to-Talk extends ASTRO®25 talkgroup communication to broadband smartphone users, providing interoperable communication anywhere there is broadband service and enabling collaboration with users who might not carry a radio such as chiefs, supervisors, off-duty officers, secondary and tertiary responders, and other agencies.
Unified PTT also allows users on Public Safety LTE systems from Motorola to easily communicate with each other by establishing secure, private broadband only talkgroups.
An Android smartphone app designed with public safety features provides a familiar radio-like user experience. Enhanced user controls allow each user to define their contact list, scan list and even create their own ad-hoc groups on the fly. Over the air programming makes it quick and easy for agencies to manage users and talkgroups during multi-agency operations.
