Product overview
Software-based architecture for P25 simulcast
The high demand for channels means narrow-band radio frequencies are hard to obtain. The Virtualized Prime Site enables wide-area P25 coverage and the efficient reuse of frequencies at adjacent sites in a reliable and compact platform that is easy to manage. All components are fully redundant. A secure, web-based interface and software capacity expansions eases system maintenance.
Key features
No single point of failure
Hardware and software redundancy is standard. All channels processes are level loaded across available hardware. In the event of a failure, the remaining units will take over to maintain full service and site capacity.
Small footprint
Software virtualization combines multiple processes across fewer hardware units - dramatically reducing the overall size and footprint for even the largest configuration.
Easy to maintain
A single, secure web-based portal provides access to all configuration and diagnostic functions. No additional hardware equipment is needed to maintain and keep the site operating at peak performance.
Software expansions
Easy, software-based expansions and updates makes it easy to add capacity or install patches without the need to ship and install new hardware and without a reduction in service.
