Transportes Gamboa Selects Motorola Solutions’ WAVE PTX to Boost Real-time Communication on the Road

New push-to-talk (PTT) solution will improve customer service and driver safety

Santiago de Chile - March 23, 2022 - Transportes Gamboa, a Chilean transport and logistics provider, has implemented Motorola Solutions’ WAVE PTX to enhance communication and safety across its operations and support its goals for national expansion.

The cloud-based broadband push-to-talk solution is accessible across Transportes Gamboa's fleet of vehicles and enables its workforce to stay connected across different networks, locations and devices, including Motorola Solutions’ TLK100 radios which access the service.

WAVE PTX, with nationwide coverage, will also allow Transportes Gamboa to enhance customer service by providing delivery status updates in real-time and improve safety for staff on the road. With WAVE PTX Dispatch, the company’s centralized control room will also have clear visibility of the routes taken by drivers. An emergency alert feature also allows delivery drivers to send urgent calls for assistance to their control room regardless of the type of device they are using.
