Next Generation of Fighting Fires – Connected Firefighter (Part II of III)

Fire doubles in size every 60 seconds, so every moment counts. Incident command works on-scene to help ensure an emergency doesn’t turn into a catastrophe. The next generation of firefighting communications has been designed to help firefighters stream mission-critical voice, data and video, all in real-time.

What do we at Motorola Solutions do to impact firefighters’ overall experience? Our designers, researchers and engineers ride the emergency vehicles, wear the gear, carry the equipment and go into the smoke-filled environments of live-fire training. Check out this link for a view of one of the trainings. This full immersion in understanding fire response is what enables Motorola Solutions to create innovative solutions that help firefighters be their best in the moments that matter.
