National Public Safety Leaders Convene for 2026 PLECET National Conference

MovementForward, Inc. hosts public safety professionals and law enforcement representatives from all 50 states; Motorola Solutions serves as presenting sponsor

DALLAS – May 26, 2026 – This week, more than 2,000 public safety professionals, senior government officials and law enforcement leaders will gather in Dallas for the Professionalizing Law Enforcement-Community Engagement Training (PLECET) National Conference. Running from May 27 to May 31, the five-day summit is dedicated to training and professional development for sworn and civilian personnel assigned to community engagement roles.

The conference is led by Atlanta-based MovementForward, Inc., a national civil and human rights organization, with the support of federal, state and local law enforcement agencies, organizations and senior officials. Built on a curriculum designed around best practices in law enforcement-community engagement, the 2026 program centers on the core themes of trust and community engagement.
