OSLO, Norway – May 23, 2013 – Motorola Solutions (NYSE: MSI), a leading provider of mission-critical communications solutions, has been selected as a supplier in one of the latest tender of the Norwegian Directorate for Emergency Communication (DNK) to deliver Terrestrial Trunked Radios (TETRA) digital radio terminals to the Fire Agencies in Norway for the nationwide mission critical network Nødnett for the phases 1 and 2 of the project. The agreement with Motorola includes the delivery of five radio models, in total approx. 2,000 units for the Norwegian Fire Service.
