Motorola Solutions Showcases Its Latest Technology at IWCE 2014
LAS VEGAS – (IWCE, Motorola Solutions, Booth #5021) – March 26, 2014 – Motorola Solutions, Inc. a leading provider of mission-critical communication solutions and services for government customers, is showcasing its latest public safety solutions at the International Wireless Communications Expo (IWCE), March 23-27 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Nevada.
KEY FACTS ABOUT MOTOROLA SOLUTIONS DEMOS AT IWCE
- Motorola continues to demonstrate its technology-readiness for Public Safety Long Term Evolution (LTE) through a functional prototype of an LTE deployable trailer that can be configured as an independent system on wheels or add-on site on wheels. This enables on-demand, LTE-based mission critical voice and data communications in strategic areas for short-term operations or disaster recovery efforts.
- Motorola’s vision of next generation public safety data for all first responders is becoming a reality as the Los Angeles Regional Interoperable Communication System Authority (LA-RICS) earlier this month selected Motorola to develop a wireless Public Safety Broadband Network (PSBN) based on 4G LTE. It will provide mission-critical data communications for the region’s more than 34,000 law enforcement, fire service and health service professionals and more than 80 public safety agencies.
- Motorola will also be demonstrating MOTOTRBO™ Anywhere, the recently launched broadband push-to-talk solution for business. It will be shown live on a MOTOTRBO Connect Plus system, using Motorola’s Enterprise smart mobile devices. Alongside this will be a full display of portable and mobile radios and accessories as well as our suite of integration and support services, showcasing new and innovative MOTOTRBO features and capabilities.
- Motorola Solutions is showcasing the SchoolSAFE Solution from QDS Safecomm911 which provides school staff with an instantaneous link to first responders in the event of an emergency. Enabling interoperable radio communications between schools, districts and with first responders, the SchoolSAFE solution is in compliance with guidelines set by the National Incident Management System (NIMS).
