Motorola Solutions’ Juliann Larimer and Mark Kroh Recognized as Channel Chiefs by CRN
SCHAUMBURG, Ill., Feb. 20, 2012 – Motorola Solutions, Inc. (NYSE: MSI) today announced that Juliann Larimer, vice president of Global Channels and Mark Kroh, vice president of North America Channels have been named 2012 Channel Chiefs by CRN. This prestigious list of the most influential and powerful leaders in the IT channel recognizes those executives directly responsible for driving channel sales and growth within their organizations, while evangelizing and defending the importance of the channel throughout the entire IT industry.
Juliann Larimer established and implemented a global framework for the PartnerEmpower program that delivers new and improved ways for members to differentiate themselves through their expertise; be rewarded for the investments they make in developing expertise and meeting customer needs; drive growth and profitability; and recognize significant value from their relationship with Motorola Solutions. Larimer and her team also revamped Motorola Solutions’ education, training and certification programs, and built a new, state-of-the-art learning management system to help channel partners build the expertise that will help them sell more effectively.
Mark Kroh led the North America rollout of the PartnerEmpower program that united all Motorola Solutions’ channel partners under a single program focused on mobile solutions, radio solutions and wireless network solutions. Kroh was also instrumental in the creation of a new value-focused business model designed to reward and differentiate channel partners that most effectively build their business with Motorola Solutions.
For the ninth consecutive year, Channel Chiefs were selected by the CRN editorial team based on channel experience, program innovations, channel-driven revenue, and public support for the importance of IT channel sales.
“On behalf of the entire Motorola Solutions’ channel organization, Mark and I are honored to be recognized as Channel Chiefs,” said Juliann Larimer, vice president of Global Channels, Motorola Solutions. “The refinement and roll-out of the new PartnerEmpower program continued to be a main focus in 2011. This year, we are committed to helping our channel partners reap the rewards of the significant investments made in channel partner enablement tools and resources that will help build competency and expertise and make it easier to do business with Motorola.”
“The 2012 Channel Chiefs list recognizes vendor executives dedicated to driving channel programs in the IT marketplace,” said Kelley Damore, VP, Editorial Director, UBM Channel. “Our annual Channel Chiefs issue is a must-read for IT solution providers evaluating new vendors or looking to expand solution offerings.
