Motorola Solutions Expands Interoperability Testing with TIMCO Engineering
SCHAUMBURG, Ill. – Aug. 19, 2011 – Motorola Solutions, Inc. (NYSE: MSI) today announced it has enlisted the support of TIMCO Engineering to serve as an independent Project 25 (P25) interoperability test lab for Motorola ASTRO® 25 system infrastructure. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Compliance Assessment Program (CAP) interoperability testing conducted by TIMCO Engineering will offer other manufacturers increased opportunities to test their P25 radio subscribers on the latest Motorola ASTRO 25 system release. The interoperability testing conducted by TIMCO is in addition to the expansive testing Motorola Solutions performs in-house as part of its regular product development and maintenance, and reinforces Motorola’s commitment to supporting DHS’ compliance program.
