Motorola Solutions and Infinite Peripherals Settle on Patent Licensing Agreement
SCHAUMBURG, Ill., Aug. 4, 2011 - Symbol Technologies, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, Inc. (NYSE: MSI), and Infinite Peripherals, Inc. today announced that Infinite Peripherals has taken a license to Symbol’s patented intellectual property. Under the patent license agreement, Infinite Peripherals has agreed to pay ongoing royalties for rights to Symbol’s patents in the fields of laser and imaging barcode scanning accessories that are designed to attach to personal digital assistants (PDA) and smartphones. The specific terms of the settlement are confidential.
