Enabling The Everyday, Today and Tomorrow, at B-APCO 2016 Author: Richard Thompson

Created Feb 26 2016, 6:00 AM by Paul Jeffs

B-APCO 2016 22-23 MARCH, TELFORD, UK

For more than 20 years British APCO has been the go to forum for public safety and civil contingencies communications. As we look toward the delivery of the U.K.’s Emergency Services Network (ESN) the role of British APCO, as a place to exchange information, ideas and experiences, has never been so relevant, or important to the future development of communications for our police, fire and rescue, and ambulance services. Motorola Solutions has been placed at the heart of the ESMCP, and in turn our support of British APCO is part of a wider endeavour to continue a close association with all users of mission-critical communications in this country, to do best by them as the complete end-to-end provider of services for ESN.

Motorola Solutions represents a complete response to public safety users’ needs - from devices to software applications, vehicle installation to control room solutions and the support required to offer a secure and smooth evolution path for the next-generation ESN. Putting our customers and their challenges as our first priority we will have a business unit dedicated to the management and operation of ESN. Motorola Solutions’ ESN Service Desk will be staffed 24/7 by highly-trained personnel who intimately understand the roles and needs of users and the services they require to focus on the core mission of Public Safety. Assisting with the orderly migration of users to ESN, this team will be the gate-keeper of change. They will assure our mission critical environment is protected at all times through best practice, industry-leading policies and processes.

Motorola Solutions has been a relied upon communications partner to the British emergency services community for more than 45 years and we intend to be there for every officer and crew member for many more to come
