This week's Critical Communications World is the most important annual event for the global critical communications community. This year's event, in Barcelona, is set to be one of the most exciting yet.

What will you see from Motorola Solutions there? How do you follow the event if you can't be there?

If you're coming to the conference, you will be able to take advantage of a dozen Motorola contributions to the agenda. The detail around our exhibition stand is still a closely guarded secret but you can expect us to have a clear focus on anticipating, predicting and preventing incidents, rather than responding after the fact. This is not just a focus of the commercial industries seeking to maximize asset life; it is also increasingly a focus for public safety organisations.

With the advancement of technology, new capabilities are now at our disposal to help us become much more intelligent users of data. We can bring data together from various processes, extract critical intelligence, turn it into an actionable response and mobilize it out to teams that need it the most – for example emergency response teams, control room operations, intelligence analysts, and even groups in the private sector or municipal agencies in the government. By doing this right, we can make better choices and achieve better outcomes.

Of course, we will be introducing several new products and solutions at the show too. To make sure you don't miss anything we will be offering booth tours. You will, of course, have the opportunity to get hands-on with the latest in public safety communications, as well as participate in drop-in consultancy sessions where we can explore with you the opportunities to move your operations into the future.
