Safer Cities at Critical Communications World 2015 Author: Tunde Williams

Created Apr 24 2015, 5:00 AM by Paul Jeffs

There are just four weeks to go before the most important annual event for the global critical communications community - Critical Communications World. No other event brings together such a varied international audience of users, operators, developers and manufacturers under one roof at one time to consider the challenges that face both public safety and commercial organisations requiring mission and business-critical communications solutions.

This year the event is being held in Barcelona from 19 to 21 May. Motorola Solutions is a gold sponsor of the event and will be taking a very active part in both the conference and the exhibition. In the conference and pre-conference we will have more than a dozen contributors. Don't miss our conference speakers including Manuel Torres who will be speaking on 'Are We Reaching a Technology Inflection Point in Public Safety?' in the Plenary Session at 10.15 a.m. on 20 May. Manuel is Senior Vice President and General Manager for Europe Africa, Latin America and Caribbean Region, Motorola Solutions.

Visit our exhibition stand, A301, where we will be showing how a safer community is the key foundation for a vibrant and successful economy. Our main objective is to help public safety organisations create safer cities so that people are free to create, to learn and to celebrate. This vision of safer cities drives our central purpose of enabling people to be their best in the moments that matter. We will share how our solutions help change the trajectory of a moment during three phases of incident management: pre-incident, mid-incident and post incident.

In addition to our exhibits, and the opportunity to get hands-on with the latest in public safety communications, we will be offering drop-in consultancy sessions where we can explore with you the opportunities to move your operations into the future. These could include how to migrate your network to LTE, cost-effective lifecycle management of your existing TETRA network or even moving some of your services to the cloud. You can drop-in and register for these sessions during the show or you can pre-register.

To find out more about our participation at Critical Communications World, to register for a booth tour or request a consultancy session visit our Critical Communications Site here.
