Two chances to see the Connected Police Officer in the UK - Security & Policing and BAPCO Author: Richard Thompson

Security and Policing 10-12 March, BAPCO 31 March & 1 April

Motorola Solutions will be showcasing the Connected Police Officer concept at two upcoming UK events.

The Connected Police Officer concept is a key example of how Motorola Solutions is evolving how emergency services address any incident. Without overwhelming or distracting in the moments that matter, actionable intelligence and contextual awareness is delivered over any network and to any device. Officers will no longer just react and respond, they can be empowered to predict and prevent.

It doesn't finish there either, having up-to-the-minute information on the street boosts efficiency too. Rugged handheld devices, mobile applications, wearable cameras, sensors and mission-critical voice and data communication make for faster and more informed decisions. Applications and devices that are reliable, secure and cost efficient, save time and money. With the control room closely monitoring the officer on the beat, their environment and delivering appropriate intelligence, at the right time and in the right way, it's the next step towards effective, proactive policing.

We will also be demonstrating our WAVE™ Work Group Communications solutions. These provide seamless interoperability between radio systems, broadband networks and connected smart devices, enabling you to manage talkgroups and deliver radio-like push-to-talk (PPT) communications over 3G/4G/LTE.

On show, you will also see the Real Time Crime Centre, providing an aggregated, user configurable console view for the control room as well as our latest TETRA digital handheld radios.

Come and visit our stand at these events:

  • Security & Policing, Tuesday 10th – Thursday 12th March, FIVE, Farnborough, Stand E38
  • BAPCO, Tuesday 31st March & Wednesday 1st April, Manchester Central, Stand E20

Don't miss our conference presenter either. Stephen Beach, our Smart Public Safety Solutions Specialist will be speaking at both conferences on ‘Creating an intelligence led Public Safety response for Police, Fire and Ambulance Services’. Stephen will be speaking at:

  • Security & Policing on Tuesday 10th March
  • BAPCO on Tuesday 31st March

We look forward to seeing you soon.
