Safer Cities, Thriving Communities at the Police Superintendents' Conference Author: Richard Thompson

Created Aug 29 2014, 5:00 AM by Paul Jeffs

Join us at the Police Superintendents’ Association of England and Wales (PSEAW) Annual Conference at Chesford Grange, UK, 8-10 September 2014

The National Conference of the PSAEW is the highlight of the year in respect of the Association’s role as representing the leadership of the police service. It is an opportunity to debate current issues, share operational experiences and enhance the personal development of delegates. The conference has an international audience and it is well known within the ‘police industry’ that the Superintendents’ conference is the one to attend. Speakers at this year’s conference include Rt Hon Theresa May, MP, Home Secretary and the Rt Hon Yvette Cooper, MP, Shadow Home Secretary.

Motorola Solutions is pleased to exhibit at this year’s conference. As well as the Police radios that we are well known for, we will be showing a wide range of solutions that will help improve operational processes and make officers both safer and more efficient. At the core of this is our ‘Safer Cities, Thriving Communities’ ethos. This is all about transforming information into the intelligence that builds a safer city. We can help you collect more of it, make it actionable and securely distribute it across mission-critical devices and easy-to-manage networks. It's how to do the absolute most with less — build safer cities, counties, countries and communities that thrive.

Come and see us on stand 5 for practical demonstrations of these:

  • Real time intelligence management that puts critical intelligence at officers’ fingertips – stopping crime, making officers safer and improving operational process
  • Covert radio solutions that work with existing covert accessories – helping make officers safer
  • Digital image evidence management - safely storing, cataloguing and fingerprinting images that are vital for successful prosecutions.
  • Rugged handheld devices that are ‘Mission Critical’ – essential for delivering actionable intelligence to officers on the street.
  • Secure communications over standard smartphones – providing senior, remote or covert officers with ‘cellphone’ access to secure data and voice – improving officer safety and efficiency.
  • Secure push-to-talk over mobile phones, tablets, TETRA radios and more – providing communications to all your officers whatever their level, location or specialisation.
