Motorola Solutions Foundation

The Motorola Solutions Foundation supports programs focused on public safety, disaster relief, science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education and employee giving.

Given Motorola Solutions’ commitment to providing technology to first responders and public safety users around the world, the Motorola Solutions Foundation is proud to support the American Red Cross’ work providing vital services before, during and after times of crisis.

The Motorola Solutions Foundation has been working closely with the American Red Cross to provide additional financial support for communities affected by Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria in the United States and Puerto Rico, as well as the earthquakes in Mexico. To date, the Motorola Solutions Foundation has committed $85,000 to the Red Cross’ relief efforts, and employees have donated more than $100,000.

These efforts are in addition to $320,000 in Motorola Solutions Foundation grants provided to Red Cross programs in Chicago, Florida, California and around the world.

Employee Volunteerism

Motorola Solutions’ facility in Plantation, Florida, was evacuated ahead of Irma and re-opened four days later to become a collection site for toiletries, cleaning kits, air mattresses, blankets, clothes and other necessary items for the South Florida Red Cross.

Motorola Solutions employees around the world continue to dedicate volunteer hours to disaster response efforts.
