Advancing the Lifeline’s Visual Toolkit is a set of design elements that, when used to compose any visual communication, uphold the unique standards and style of our brand.

VISUAL ELEMENTS

These are the visual elements of Advancing the Lifeline:

  • Logo

  • Color Palette

  • Typography

  • Headline Treatments

  • Photography

  • Layouts and Grid

The Motorola Solutions Signature should be used consistently across all artwork for Advancing the Lifeline and follow the Logo Guidelines.

Black, white and our standard colors are the only colors permitted for use with our Emsignia and Advancing the Lifeline creative.

For details on our standard color palette, reference our Color Guidelines.

Typography

We use the same fonts across all messaging to enhance brand consistency and recognition: Univers Condensed and Arial.

Headline Treatments

Advancing the Lifeline features two types of headline treatments:

For guidelines on how to apply either headline treatment, reference the Headline Treatment Guidelines.

Connected Type

Photography

There are four broad photographic genres that work successfully with the Advancing the Lifeline creative: urban and residential, workstyle, portraits and application. These genres work well to build visual vignettes that feel emotionally connected and thoughtfully provocative, as they relate to the overarching brand promise.

Learn more about our photography genres in the Photography Guidelines.

Layouts and Grid

All Advancing the Lifeline creative relies on a new 4x4 grid. This deviates from the 3x3 grid structure used in core collateral guidelines.

Refer to the Advancing the Lifeline Layout Guidelines for guidance on the arrangement of visual elements on a page.
