Steve Deutsch is an Investment Principal at Motorola Solutions Venture Capital where he is focused on helping bring early stage technology to moments that matter. Steve is responsible for scouting, evaluating and implementing strategic venture investments for Motorola Solutions in addition to managing relationships with several portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Motorola Solutions Venture Capital, Steve worked as a strategy consultant advising technology companies and private equity investors on value creation and go-to market strategies for their portfolio holdings. Before that, he served as a venture capital analyst at Sandbox Industries, where he conducted company and industry analysis on investment candidates for a healthcare focused fund. He started his career on the Incubation Team at Sandbox Industries helping launch and scale early-stage tech startups.
Steve received his MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. He also holds a BBA in Finance and a BA in Psychology from The College of William and Mary.
