Membership to the LGBTA Business Council is open to all Motorola Solutions employees who support the mission and vision of the council, and Motorola’s diversity initiatives that are focused on the needs of our employees and our businesses

Women's Business Council
We aim to provide a platform for female role models to inspire and motivate all employees, address female employees' perceived support challenges/inhibitors and helping overcome them, as well as connecting female employees via networking opportunities. Beyond our company, we promote STEM education among female students to grow the talent pool for our company.

The Motorola Solutions Foundation is the charitable and philanthropic arm of our company, originally founded in 1953. With employees located around the globe, we seek to benefit the communities where we operates. We achieve this by making strategic grants, forging strong community partnerships and fostering innovation. 

Awarding over $9 million in grants in 2017, which supported more than 3 million students and first responders affiliated with about 260 organizations in 37 countries, our funding and involvement goes beyond helping those in law enforcement. The foundation also supports organizations that represent veterans, professional and volunteer fire service personnel, EMS professionals and disaster response professionals. In particular, the foundation focuses on education, public safety, disaster relieve and employee giving.
